Every business needs to embrace information and communications Technology (ICT) to survive and thrive in today’s world. However, with so many new technologies arriving on the market so fast, keeping up with it all can be a challenge – particularly for directors and senior managers not totally conversant with IT and Communications terminology.

Our role is to help organisations in specific industry sectors to build their understanding of how they can take advantage of some of these technologies, for the express purposes of improving business productivity, communications and customer satisfaction.

One relatively new word on the technology agenda is Convergence. In this case we refer to the convergence of voice, data and images – three essentials in human communications but which have hitherto - in IT network terms –remained separate.

The primary technology making Convergence – ‘or Unified Communications’ - a reality is the Internet. ‘Internet Protocol’ (IP) is the communications platform that enables your business to take the speed and flexibility of doing business to a new level.
